Our work focuses on restoring the Chesapeake Bay through tree planting, bioretention, and invasive species removal. By employing returning citizens, we not only rehabilitate natural environments but also provide meaningful jobs, fostering personal growth and community well-being creating a lasting positive impact on both our ecosystems and society

Bioretention

Bioretention is a sustainable stormwater management practice that involves the use of engineered soil, vegetation, and drainage systems to capture, treat, and infiltrate stormwater runoff. Bioretention areas, often called rain gardens, help to reduce the quantity of stormwater runoff and improve its quality by filtering out pollutants before they reach water bodies.

Tree Planting

Tree planting involves the process of introducing new trees into an area for various purposes, including environmental conservation, beautification, shade provision, and ecosystem restoration. Removing Invasives
