Founder & CEO
Vanessa Bright
Vanessa Bright is a mom, educator, leader, author, and entrepreneur. In 2019, she founded Maryland Reentry Resource Center to empower formerly incarcerated individuals. She aims to uphold human dignity and remove barriers to success. Vanessa holds multiple degrees and is a Licensed Master Social Worker.

Jeff Otto
Jeff Ott, founder of East Coast Organics (1999), is a pioneer in the organic industry, expanding access to organic products and sustainable practices. He developed a biological land management system reducing reliance on fertilizers and pesticides, implemented in universities, municipalities, and world-class facilities. As a marketing strategist, he enhances organic product lines with cost-effective, eco-friendly solutions.

Diane Butler
Ms. Butler spent 36 years as an attorney managing environmental and toxic tort insurance claim settlements. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctor. An active community member, she enjoys sailing, pickleball, tennis, and traveling with her husband, John.

Devin Landry
Devin, our Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Member, holds an Associate Degree in Environmental Science with a passion for urban forestry and natural resource planning. He has led Maryland Reentry Resource Center’s Chesapeake Bay Restoration Workforce Initiative, teaching conservation landscaping. Devin collaborates with Anne Arundel County Watershed Stewards and the Maryland DNR on invasive species removal, native plantings, and stormwater restoration. His current projects include developing a hiking program for returning citizens, assisting the Annapolis Conservancy Board in conservation easement monitoring, and identifying tree-planting opportunities in underserved communities facing environmental challenges.
